About

Tina Moberg is a seasoned baker with a passion for home cooked, easy-to-make meals. Her biggest belief is that the best food is food that is yummy and reminds you of home. She is most commonly known in Sweden for baking a 6000 meter long baguette and eating it all in one day. Tina is an important and loved spokes person for the Swedish Association for Pathological Liars.

Berry Crumble


This is a very easy but delicious pie recipe that require very few ingredients. You can of course use whatever berries you like or even fruit if you prefer. This pie is delicious served warm, topped with vanilla ice cream or cold with some warm custard on top.


  • 2dl Plain Flour
  • 1 dl Whole Grain Oats
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 100 g Butter

  • 500 g Berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 dl White Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Potato Flour

Berry crumble in a pie dish

Method

  1. Turn the oven to 225° (celsius).
  2. In a bowl. Combine the berries, white sugar and potato flour and put into a pie dish.
  3. In a separate bowl. Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar and butter. Crumble the mixture over the berries.
  4. Bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crumbles have gotten some colour.
  5. Eat some delicious pie!

Chocolate balls


Chocolate balls is a popular Swedish desert often served as a sweet accompaniment to coffee or tea. It’s very easy to make and requires no cooking.


  • 150 g Butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 dl White Sugar
  • 6 tbsp Cocoa
  • A pinch of Vanilla Powder
  • 2 tbsp Chilled Coffee
  • 4 dl whole grain oats

  • Topping suggestions:
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Nib sugar
  • Sprinkles

Method

  1. Combine the butter and the sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add the cocoa, vanilla, coffee and oatmeal to the bowl and combine.
  3. Take some batter and roll into a ball (about the size of a golf ball). Roll the ball in your topping of choice and put the balls on a platter or a food safe container.
  4. When you have rolled all of the batter into balls and dipped them in toppings, put the plate or container in the fridge for about 30 minutes until the chocolate balls have firmed up.
  5. Serve with some coffee or tea and enjoy!

Swedish Pancakes


Pancakes or “pannkakor” is a popular dish in Sweden. The pancake is similar to the crêpe with the only two differences being that the Swedish pancake is a little bit thicker and contain fewer eggs.


  • 1 dl Plain Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 dl Milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Topping suggestions:
  • Sugar
  • Lemon
  • Whipped cream
  • Fruit
  • Berries
  • Jam
  • Cheese
  • Ham

Method

  1. Combine the flour with half of the milk (0,5 dl) and whisk until the batter is even.
  2. Add the rest of the milk, the egg and the salt and whisk until combined.
  3. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Melt the butter in a frying pan and stir in to the batter.
  5. Take away some of the excess butter in the frying pan with a paper towel and fry the pancakes on medium heat until golden on both sides.
  6. Serve with your topping of choice and enjoy!
